Another meat option at Luigi’s Best! Introducing our new Sausage Pizza, and our Sausage & Peppers calzone.
Both new options are made with our custom recipe for Italian sausage with fennel, made locally by our special supplier from Minnesota pigs.
If you like a spicy sausage, ask to add our imported Calabrian hot red pepper flakes, which are far tastier than your average flake. There’s no charge for these delicious spicy morsels.
The calzone not only has sausage, but also sweet red bell peppers, reminiscent of that Italian classic: the sausage & peppers sub.
Call in or stop by for either option. We’re here to serve you.
You’ve heard of Mexican Coke, but did you know there’s also Mexican Sprite and Mexican Orange Fanta sodas, too? We now carry all three!
What’s the difference between ordinary soft drinks and the Mexican version? The Mexican versions simply have pure cane sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup.
While both sugar and corn syrup are simple carbs, some people prefer cane sugar over corn syrup. We stick to drinks made with sugar, like these three Coke products and the San Pellegrino carbonated fruit drinks we sell.
Next time you’re in, try one of these cane sugar-based drinks.
We got a little behind last week on our one-new-pizza-a-week promise. The good news, we’re working on 2 pizzas right now, one or both of which will debut this weekend.
One of those pizzas is a Pistachio Nocellara Olive Pesto pizza, with red bell peppers. The other is our famous sausage pizza.
Stay tuned to find out which one(s) debut on Friday!
The Star Tribune’s food critic gives a thumbs-up to Luigi’s Best! Isn’t it time
